How Far Have We Come?

As part of the Centenary Celebrations we will be hearing from real women about their experiences and look at significant events and changes for women over the past 100 years.

 

There will also be a fine selection of stalls, workshops, entertainment and beauty therapist taster sessions which are yet to be confirmed.  Please check back for updates or get in contact if you would like to be involved. 

 

 

 

     

Celebrating IWD 2009 in Medway

                Includes dancing, singing and interactive quiz

 

1pm         Official Welcome

2pm          Workshops, choose from:

                - Children's art and pottery

                - First Aid

                - Self-defence

                - Tribal Banshees dance

               A dance from Sierra Leone, "Amoshekueshe"

 

This year Medway IWD will be supporting the  

Coalition for the Removal of Pimping (CROP)

who work with parents to end child sexual exploitation
